Stop in the Name of Love

Acting like a fool, in such a way that promotes division and hate should never be supported or tolerated by anyone, on any side of politics, any religious or non religious belief, anyone with a shred of morality and love for humanity – in any capacity. Cry first amendment all day long but that only allows you the right to be an ass. And just because you are afforded that right doesn’t mean it is okay to be an ass. I don’t care what media says or does or how they twist things. Stop blindly believing it. And I don’t care if you do or do not have the same beliefs I do.

What I do care about is your heart and soul and the way you choose to honor or dishonor the beauty inside you and those around you. Disrespect and disregard for another human being because they are different, in any capacity, is wrong. And I know you know that so stop perpetuating the division and hate. YOU have the power within you to engage in the real truth and do so from a place of love. If it is done from any other place, you will play a part in the regurgitation and if you are ok with that, that’s on you but don’t be surprised when I no longer choose to share space with vile and repulsive behavior and those who make excuses for it or support it. I want better so I will do what I can to be better. I want to align with peace and the energy it puts forth. I really hope you all will choose on the side of love and unity too. It doesn’t have to be this way. Honestly. It is simple work of the heart.

ETA: and please, for the love of… do not call yourself a warrior and supporter of our troops if you think taunting a veteran is ok based on what side of politics you stand on. If you are appalled with someone taking a knee during a song, you better be appalled at a bunch of kids (religious ones at that) disrespecting a veteran. And if you think the latter is ok and the former is not ok… man… I just can’t.
