Week 2 in Photos

It’s Sunday night. I didn’t upload the photos and post them yesterday. Oops! It was on my “to-do” list but to be honest, I ignored that list for the past, umm, 4 days or so. I have been having up and down days with my health lately and I honestly have to take one day at a time and deal with it as it comes and be ok with it. Saturday was an extremely lazy and off day. I won’t say I failed, I will just say that it was truly an off day. I am battling some mental warfare and that is always a hard time to get through no matter how much work you have done to “fix” yourself. Day by day, people. It is a process. It is a journey.  Keep rising. Keep moving forward. One step at a time, always.

That being said, let’s get onto the ProjectLife 365, shall we?! Ok, Let’s!!

week2Day 7: Simplicity – Day 8: Front Door – Day 9: In A Drawer – Day 10: Game
Day 11: Signature – Day 12: Mini – Day 13: Forgotten – Oh look! A bonus photo of ME! 🙂

Journaling for each is:

Simplicity: One of many vintage cameras in my collection. Sweet lil brownie
Front Door: The warm and welcoming entrance to my favorite little deli
In A Drawer: Inside one of my drawers in my jewelry armoire
Game: The bleachers sit empty waiting for the next big game at the high school
Signature: Kitties and skies are my signature photography go-to. I take way too many photos of skies and my cats and I’m ok with that and being a crazy cat lady! This is my Shelby girl!
Mini: Emergency stash of Hershey’s miniatures! (Hormonal woman!)
Forgotten: My poor art/paint basket has been forgotten so much that it has a layer of dust around the rim. 🙁
Bonus Pic of Me Labeled “Like a Lotus”: Yeah, so this was the day (1-10-13)  that I discovered that I had lost 10…TEN!!!.. pounds so far and that was so freaking fantastic!! 🙂

The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.? Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture

You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.? Maya Angelou

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.? Confucius

Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.? Thomas A. Edison

Things don’t go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all that you were intended to be.? Charles Jones, Life is Tremendous

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.? Dale Carnegie
