Let It Reign

There is healing radiating 
From the sky above
A vibration beating
From the earth below
The energy is shifting
One moment of hope
After another.
Small moves toward
All the good things
All the right things.
The essence of humanity
Is such a sweet sensation
When the heart shows up
In a world riddled with
Hate and violence
Ignorance and despair.
The objective is to unify
Not promote division so deep
That mother earth bears
Battle wounds.
Shreds of humanity and
Dignity piled up in the streets
Discarded over and over again
Based on everything but the heart.
Stop bleeding out America 
Surrender to the hopes and dreams
And keep taking action 
For a better place to call home.
Wake up to the noise and
Take courage to change.
Revelation begets revolution 
To stand and empower
With freedom at your fingertips
Taste your white privilege and
Use it to evoke a new age
Of love and kindness
And compassion
That raises the vibration 
Even higher
Building trust not walls
Hugging not shooting 
Laughing not crying out
Running towards not away
Including not excluding
Lifting up not tearing down
Moving forward not
Living backward
Giving humanity a chance 
to exhale and say thank you
Finally.

Wipe your tears 
Sing it with grace 
And gratitude
Let it reign.
