The Climb

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. ~ Romans 8:18
This verse found me today as I was having some quiet time with the Lord. My heart opened up to the truth that what we suffer through isn’t permanent. His love is too big for that to happen. He loves us enough to see us through our battles. The climb may be seemingly torturous and never-ending but imagine the victory at the top and the glory He promised shines for us on the other side of pain. We do have to put in a bit of effort during the healing process but there is no stopwatch waiting for your finish. Just be brave enough to begin. And trust each step, one foot in front of the other. Or crawl if you must. Rest now and then. Just don’t give up. Glory awaits.
